Is it indoors or outdoors? Is it a garden setting which needs fewer decorations or an empty hall? What are the permanent fixtures that need to be considered? Does the venue have any props or other decorating items you may use? Consider these elements before choosing flowers. Have a good idea of what your guest list number will be. Knowing what the size of the tables are and how many people can be seated at each one are important factors regarding the type of arrangements that will work and what your budget is when choosing centerpieces. Will there be a head table or podium? Are there any banisters or mantels that would provide an area for garlands or other decorations? Would you like a flower for the guest(s) of honor to wear? What is the theme and/or color palette? Flowers are one of the easiest ways to incorporate special meaning into the festivities. Including personal items in centerpieces or in table settings, adding blooms to photo displays, using symbolic flowers, choosing a striking color scheme, or adding company merchandise to the decorations are just some examples of making your party more personal.
